Mercer Kennedy Ellington (* 11.03.1919; † 08.02.1996), Sohn des Komponisten, Pianisten und Bandleaders Duke Ellington, spielt mit dem Ellington Orchestra Evergreens seines Vaters. Die Aufnahme entstand während des "JazzFest" in der Berliner Philharmonie am 05.11.1987. Gastsängerin ist Anita Moore (* 1950; † 28.04.2001).
Mercer Kennedy Ellington (* Nov 3, 1919; † Aug 2, 1996), son of the composer, pianist and bandleader Duke Ellington, plays golden oldies of his father with the Ellington Orchestra. This recording was taken during the "JazzFest" at the Berlin Philharmonic on Nov 5, 1987. Guest singer is Anita Moore (* 1950; † Apr 28, 2001).
